RE: 2024/2025 PADI Asia Pacific Insurance Renewal

Thank you for your patience while we negotiated the forthcoming insurance renewal.

Due to many reasons this year’s renewal negotiations have been drawn out and delayed.

Given world events and the state of the global insurance market, we are very pleased to advise the premium for forthcoming renewal will be the same as the last renewal.

Some important points relating to this year’s renewal are;

PADI members with a current V-Insurance Policy

• Your current policy was extended to 31st October 2020 for nil premium to take into account the reduced activity and downtime in the recreational scuba industry resulting from COVID-19.
• The forthcoming renewal premium will be pro rata from 31st October 2020 to 30th September 2021 (i.e. 11 months)
• We have arranged to hold all members with an existing policy covered until 16th November 2020 to allow sufficient time to consider our renewal terms and renew your insurance policy. Please be assured you will have continuous cover if you renew before 16th November 2020. If you don’t renew before 16th November 2020 your policy will cease as at 16th November 2020.
• For members working in countries where insurance is required by PADI, PADI will automatically keep you in Teaching Status until 16th November 2020.
• Should you require something in writing to provide your employer, landlord, resort owner etc. please email padi@vinsurancegroup.com. Please note that all PADI dive stores are aware of this extension.
